Please remember that any student entering kindergarten, going into the 7th grade, or newly enrolling/re-enrolling into the district is required, by the state, to be up to date on their required childhood immunizations. These students will not be allowed to start school until they either show an up to date immunization record or a waiver from the health department. You can see your doctor, go to the health department, or take advantage of the immunization clinic times that the district will be offering at the end of this month. Don't clap back about college being expensive...we said FREE! šNew curriculum, library books, school furniture, and school supplies. šSouthwestern Classical Academy's SWP Site won the Molina Healthcare School-Based Clinic of the Year Award š Eleven schools earned the prestigious MTSS Data Utilization award š Implemented the 360 Navigate Visitors Management System for improved security š Renovated school parking lots and installed new lighting š Set to receive ten new electric school buses šNine of our schools have been recognized with the Capturing Kids' HeartsĀ® National Showcase Schools Award for fostering relational capacity, improving school culture, and enhancing academic performance. šWith $100 million in ESSER funding, we're renovating Doyle Ryder Education Center, Potter Elementary, Brownell STEM Academy, and Holmes STEM Middle Schools Academy. Thanks to a $14 million grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, supplemented by $26 million in federal ESSER funds, we're transforming Brownell STEM Academy and Holmes STEM Middle School into a state-of-the-art educational hub. "The Cube," a new community and educational space, is on the horizon, symbolizing our commitment to academic excellence and community building. šThis fall, the Summerfield Early Childhood Education Center will undergo major renovations supported by a $5 million grant from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation to the Genesee Intermediate School District. Improvements include a reconfigured main entrance, repaired parking lot, new roof, boiler system, and windows, creating an enhanced learning environment for our youngest scholars.
